Notes
- 1:2 - Used in the spring to stimulate egg laying (use only when enough honey is available for feeding the brood)
- 1:1 - Used in the spring and summer to encourage comb building
- 2:1 - Used in the fall to increase food stores in preparation for winter
- Sugar Candy - Winter feeding
2:1 Syrup
- Boil 5 quarts water
- Remove heat
- Stir in 5 pounds white cane sugar
- Add 3.5 tablespoons Honey Bee Healthy (optional)
1:1 Syrup
- Boil 2.5 quarts water
- Remove heat
- Stir in 5 pounds white cane sugar
- Add 1.5 tablespoons Honey Bee Healthy (optional)
1:2 Syrup
- Boil 5 cups water
- Remove heat
- Stir in 5 pounds white cane sugar
- Add 1 tablespoons Honey Bee Healthy (optional)
