Notes

• 1:2 - Used in the spring to stimulate egg laying (use only when enough honey is available for feeding the brood)
• 1:1 - Used in the spring and summer to encourage comb building
• 2:1 - Used in the fall to increase food stores in preparation for winter
• Sugar Candy - Winter feeding

2:1 Syrup

• Boil 5 quarts water
• Remove heat
• Stir in 5 pounds white cane sugar
• Add 3.5 tablespoons Honey Bee Healthy (optional)

1:1 Syrup

• Boil 2.5 quarts water
• Remove heat
• Stir in 5 pounds white cane sugar
• Add 1.5 tablespoons Honey Bee Healthy (optional)

1:2 Syrup

• Boil 5 cups water
• Remove heat
• Stir in 5 pounds white cane sugar
• Add 1 tablespoons Honey Bee Healthy (optional)
